Rupert is a lawyer by profession and holds a BA LLB degree. He has over 40 years of experience and is the founder of the Tabacks legal firm, one of South Africa’s premier law firms. He has many years of experience in mining specific deals and structuring with most of the major South African Mining Houses. Rupert is also a mining entrepreneur who has been instrumental in the building of several junior mining companies. Rupert’s key strengths are being structured, logical, disciplined with a strong focus on negotiation and strategy.

Anel has over 22 years of experience and holds a B. Com Accounting (Hon) degree and is a Chartered Accountant. She is the Chief Financial Officer of a large manganese producer and has local and international experience in listed and unlisted companies. Her strengths are that she is logical, pragmatic, goal orientated and has an affinity for numbers.

Bev is a qualified actuary, CFA, and FSCA-approved valuator with over 30 years of experience in the retirement fund industry. She spent much of her career as a senior investment consultant to trustee boards of some of South Africa’s largest funds, advising on investment strategy, risk management, and long-term growth. Bev currently serves on the Boards of the Public Investment Corporation and AVBOB, where she brings her deep expertise in governance, investment oversight, and regulatory compliance. She has played a pivotal role in shaping strategic investment decisions, ensuring robust risk frameworks, and supporting sustainable value creation for trustees, members, and investors. Her extensive technical knowledge, combined with hands-on governance experience and a strong focus on long-term outcomes, positions her to deliver meaningful impact in driving shareholder confidence and sustainable growth.

Lindiwe is an accomplished executive who recently completed an Executive MBA at BI Norwegian Business School (Norway), adding to her over 30 years of experience spanning mining, banking, and auditing. She holds an MCom in Financial Management and a BCompt (Hons). During her 13 years at Royal Bafokeng Platinum, Lindiwe played a key role in the company's growth and transformation, contributing to its IPO, capital-raising transactions, and acquisitions. She served as a permanent invitee to the Board, Audit & Risk, and Social & Ethics Committees, gaining extensive governance and strategic decision-making experience. Internationally, she represented RBPlat on the boards of the World Platinum Investment Council (UK) and the Platinum Jewellery Development Association. Lindiwe brings a strong background in strategy, ESG and sustainability, investor relations, and stakeholder engagement, combining financial acumen with a purpose-driven leadership style to deliver long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders.

Lindiwe Montshiwagae

Peter holds BSc, BSc (Hons), MSc (Eng), and PhD (Eng) degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a BCom from UNISA. His postgraduate research was in uranium hydrometallurgy, and he went on to spend 25 years at Gencor and Mintek working in base metal leaching, PGM refining, and copper processing technologies. As Marketing Director at Mintek from 1992 to 2001, Peter promoted and implemented flotation, solvent extraction, electrowinning, and bioleaching projects internationally, including major initiatives in Mexico, Chile, and the United States. In 1999, he co-founded Atoll and became CEO in 2001, leading the growth of its slag recovery and smelting operations until his retirement in 2009. Peter combines deep technical expertise with international copper industry experience and proven executive leadership, bringing strong value to boards and stakeholders.

She is a qualified miner with a blasting certificate. She holds 32 years of hands-on experience in ideating and developing entrepreneurial ventures.

He served as the executive Chairperson of HCI and Chief Executive Officer of e-tv until 2014. Prior to this, he was a member of Parliament and Deputy General Secretary of the National Union of Mineworkers. Marcell currently runs a private family investment portfolio.

Graham Briggs is a South African geologist and mining executive with over 40 years of experience in the mining industry. Briggs is best known for his tenure as CEO of Harmony Gold Mining Company from 2008 to 2015, where he led one of South Africa’s largest gold producers through significant operational and strategic transformations. His career began at Gencor in 1972, progressing through various technical and leadership roles across multiple mining operations. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Mines (Minerals Council South Africa). In his new role at Copper 360, Briggs is expected to leverage his extensive experience to guide the company through its next phase of development and growth in the base metals sector.

Stephan has 33 years of practical experience and holds a M Com (Management Accounting) degree and is a Chartered Accountant (SA). He has, inter alia, served as the head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Deutsche Bank and Bank of America Merryll Lynch in South Africa and has extensive international corporate advisory experience. He has a particularly strong background in the mining sector, having advised several global mining corporations. Stephan has been involved in the listing, building and structuring of several companies on local and international exchanges. Over the last 8 years, he has been acting both as investor principal and advisor in the mineral resources field. Stephan’s key strengths are being logical, solution driven, practical and having an aptitude for working with numbers.
